A wide range of instructors, teachers and guides are offering you the chance to try out their courses and services.

Listen to the live music from Maurice and Rosie and enjoy our wines by the glass or the bottle in the winery grounds.

For lunch you can bring your own picnic but all drinks must be purchased from the Domaine. We will fire up the barbecue if you want to cook your own food. Unfortunately La Canterrane Pizzeria is closed for their holidays.

There are lots of tables outside and you can enjoy a game of Boules afterwards. Kids are welcome and there is a small playground to keep the little ones entertained (Nannies not included!)

Schedule of Activities

10am - Noon : Start the day with a walk with P.O. Life’s reknowned Walking Guide, Christian Piquemal

Walk through our vineyards and discover the area where famous battles took place and about the Knight Templar. If you have never been on the guided walk this is your chance - you won’t regret it. Cost: Free

10.30 am - 11.30 am : Water Colour Painting for all levels with Ken Wheatley

Ken trained in drawing and painting at Edinburgh College of Art, he then taught Art at the Royal High School in Edinbourgh. For 35 years he worked as a set designer for Scottish TV. He now resides in Arles Sur Tech. Domaine Treloar is proud to have his work on display in it’s event room. 

Cost: from 3€ depending on whether you bring your own paper, brush and paints.

11.30 - 12.30 : Ceramic painting with Amanda JarmanPrice

Paint a dish to keep. Fabulous Potter and Ceramic Artist Amanda Jarman-Price will help you paint your own ceramic dish or select one from her collection to paint. Domaine Treloar is pleased that Amanda also exhibits her work at the Domaine. 

Cost: from 5€ depending on dish selected.

12.30 - 13.15 : How to Taste wine for Beginners with Jonathan Hesford 

Your chance to learn how to taste wine like a pro with Jon. Learn to recognise grape varieties and spot faults. You can ask all those questions you have always wanted to ask and learn how to spit neatly (if you want)! 

Cost: 4 € includes free tasting glass.

14.00 pm onwards : Childrens Pottery with Nathalie at the entrance to the cave 

Your children can potter away making all sorts of clay objects d’art with Nathalie. At VinArt and our Open day parents were heard saying that that was the best 2 € they had ever spent!

13.30 - 14.00 : YOGA for Relaxation with Marion Thornley 

Your chance to experience YOGA with Marion, learn how to relax and release those stresses in life. Marion lives in Ceret area and teaches all kinds of YOGA.

15.00 - 15.20 : Childrens YOGA (2 1/2 to 5 years) with Julie Ennis 

Children will love this fun YOGA session with Julie. Julie teaches children’s YOGA at schools in Perpignan and Canet as well as by private arrangement. During the class the kids go on an exciting adventure, learning different yoga poses as the story unfolds. It’s not just physical exercise, the children are encouraged to use their imaginations too and the classes are great fun.

16.00 - 17.00 : How to Take a better photo with Photographer Nigel Bradley 

Nigel works as a freelance photographer for a wide variety of clients in both the publishing and advertising worlds, Decanter, BBC to just name a few. You will start off in the winery and then be led around the village taking photos with Nigel’s help and advice. 

Cost 5 € - bring your own digital camera

17.00 - 18.00 : Make Jewellery with Pauline Rixon

Pauline exhibited her beautiful jewellery at VinArt and now she returns to guide you though the process of making your own piece of jewellery. A class not to be missed. 

Cost: 3 € upwards plus on materials used.

18.00 - 18.45 : How to Taste wine for Beginners with Jonathan Hesford
