Muscat of AlexandriaClick for Fiche Technique

Refreshing and fruity, this dry white wine is made from the Muscat d'Alexandrie grape. It has an exciting aroma of grapefruit, mint and a hint of gun-smoke. The flavour is mainly tropical fruits with a refreshing acidity. Serve lightly chilled.

Viticulture

Hand harvested from Muscat d'Alexandrie  grown on sandy clay on the lower slopes of the hill of Le Roubau. 

Winemaking

After de-stemming and cold settling overnight, the juice is slowly fermented under refrigeration in stainless steel tanks. 

No malolactic fermentation takes place, retaining the crispness of the natural grape acidity.

The finished wine is racked off its lees, gently fined and cold stabilized. It receives a single filtration before bottling.
