No less than 6 Treloar wines in The Wine Advocate's Roussillon selection.
Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, arguably still the world's more influential wine guide, has just published its 2018 selection of Roussillon wines. Six of our wines featured in the report, more than any other winery in our Les Aspres appellation area and one of only 7 estates in the whole region to get high scores for so many of their wines. It underlines my goal of not just making one expensive super-cuvee but to produce fabulous wines across the whole range, every vintage

The Wine Advocate - Robert Parker
"The 2010 Côtes du Roussillon Tahi (200 cases) exhibits lots of olives and meatiness to go with ample dark fruits, peppery herbs and underbrush. Made from 50% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Grenache that was vinified in concrete tanks before aging 12 months in 30% new barrels, it’s medium-bodied, has integrated acidity and solid underlying structure. In short, this is a classy, well-made wine that will drink well for another 5-7 years." There are just over 200 cases of the 2013

One Block Muscat 2009 "Lively, pure Muscat scents and a well-judged palate: all the orange-citrus zing of the variety but with a soft, rounded finish too." La Terre Promise 2009 "The oak is unobtrusive, just adding a creamy fullness to the scents of anis and fennel and the flavours of those same spices with gentle mango-like fruits. Much more of a food wine with that subtle aromatic and flavour spectrum lending the wine lots of gastronomic aptitude." Three Peaks 2008 "I like

"Domaine Treloar produces a range of seriously good wines." La Terre Promise 2009 is a distinctive white: Big, smoky, buttery yet very well balanced. Motus 2007 is beefier, mostly mourvedre, with serious structure but already showing lovely body and richness." #EveningStandard #LaTerrePromise #2009 #2007 #MOTUS #AndrewNeather #mourvedre #balanced
