The Wine Advocate - Robert Parker

"The 2010 Côtes du Roussillon Tahi (200 cases) exhibits lots of olives and meatiness to go with ample dark fruits, peppery herbs and underbrush. Made from 50% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Grenache that was vinified in concrete tanks before aging 12 months in 30% new barrels, it’s medium-bodied, has integrated acidity and solid underlying structure. In short, this is a classy, well-made wine that will drink well for another 5-7 years."

There are just over 200 cases of the 2013 La Terre Promise Blanc, and it’s made from 70% Grenache Gris, 20% Macabeu and 10% Carignan Blanc that spent six months in 10% new French oak. It exhibits beautiful minerality in its dried pineapple, apple blossom, citrus and subtle brioche-scented bouquet. This flows to a medium-bodied, clean, classy and fresh white that has integrated acidity and a great finish. It’s a no-brainer purchase that will shine for 2-3 years, if not longer.

These two outstanding wines are made by English born Jonathan Hesfort (sic), who migrated to the Roussillon to follow his passion in wine. They’re made in tiny quantities and are well worth seeking out." Jeb Dunnock.
